Bride & Groom Wedding Portrait Workshop #1

20, May 2016

Do you want to improve your Bride and Groom Portrait skills?

The weather was beautiful and the location was stunning for four photographers attending a 4 hour workshop run by
The Wedding Imaging Academy. With 3 models, a make up artist and 2 workshop facilitators and the stunning
Robert Denholm House wedding venue, the workshop participants had the opportunity to learn about and practice shooting awesome bride and groom portraits and take away some stunning images to use in their portfolios.

Following a brief introduction by everyone, the photographers were given guidance on posing for bride and groom portraits and as they were experienced in other types of photography they very quickly started to take photographs with the fantastic models around the beautiful house and grounds. The focus of the workshop was all about capturing the images that are essential for giving the Wedding Album that “special and unique” memory and also that you can add to your portfolio and website to make you stand out. With the incredible house and gardens and fantastic and enthusiastic models, the photographers were able to challenge themselves and experiment to their hearts content. Each one came away with some awesome Bride and Groom portraits for their portfolio.
